I build the parts of a project that don’t have an obvious builder — curved and coopered forms, heritage reproduction, prototype mechanisms, large modular assemblies. Most of what I make begins as someone else’s drawing with a hole in it where the fabrication should be.
I work to supplied documentation or develop and document the fabrication solution myself, and deliver
complete, tested assemblies from the workshop.

Outsourced through an established supplier relationship. I model in-house and issue my own cutting files, so CNC components arrive as part of a documented package. - Assembly
Machine capacity limits the component, not the outcome. Large work is engineered as modular components and assembled in the workshop or on site — the NZTE pavilion was the footprint of a house; the Regent doors required crane and forklift handling. - Documentation
I work to supplied drawings, or model and document the fabrication solution and issue drawings for approval. - Delivery
Complete assemblies delivered from the workshop. Site installation by arrangement. - What I don’t do
On-site joinery scribed to as-built conditions — staircases, handrails and fitted trim. That work belongs to a
different trade and a different process. My work is fabricated and tested in the workshop before it arrives.
